Bertrand Y. Goulet
LEWISTON – Bertrand Y. Goulet, 61, of 10 Woodville Road, Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Aug. 9, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center. Born in Lewiston on June 9, 1960, he was the son of Raymond J. and Theresa R. Roy Goulet. Educated in local schools, he was employed as a forklift operator at Poland Spring Bottling Plant for 38 years. On Aug. 12, 1983, he married the love of his life, the former Linda M. Ouellette. A member of SS. Peter & Paul Basilica, Prince of Peace Parish, Bert enjoyed gardening and working on cars, especially old Mopars. His pride and joy was a 1972 Dodge Charger that he and Linda had been slowly restoring over their entire marriage.
Besides his loving wife of Lewiston, Bert is survived by a son, Michael R. and girlfriend Kayla Begin and their daughter, Mackenzie Tarves of Sabattus, a brother, Ronald and wife Jaye of Lewiston, and a sister, Elaine and husband Ronald Biron of Lewiston. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Raymond.
Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home on Sunday, from 5 – 8 p.m. Services will be Monday, 11 a.m., in the Upper Church of the SS. Peter & Paul Basilica.
