Martha Violette
MEXICO – Martha Violette, 73, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was a resident of Worthley Ave in Mexico.
Born in Rumford on Dec. 18, 1947, she was a daughter of Theodore and Josie (Mortus) Kowalzyk. Martha was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford and was a self-employed Beautician in the area.
Martha was married at Roxbury Pond on July 2, 1982 to James Violette who survives of Mexico. Other survivors include her daughter, Lisa Deherrera of Mexico; granddaughter Maria Benock and husband Peter of Windham; brothers, Tad Kowalzyk and wife Insun Southerland of New Jersey, Jon Kowalzyk of Mexico and Edward Kowalzyk and wife Sally Kaubris of Rumford.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday Sept. 2, 2021 at the Lithuanian Cemetery in Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford.
