Laurie A. Duguay
LEWISTON – Laurie A. Duguay, 57, a resident of Livermore, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 13, 1964 in Farmington, the daughter of John Mastine and Rita (Foley) Mastine. She was a 1982 graduate of Jay High School. Laurie worked over 30 years as a cashier at Hannaford in Jay before her illness. On Sept. 15, 2001 at their home on Round Pond in Livermore, she married Peter Duguay. Laurie enjoyed listening to live music, going to the ocean, trips to Vermont to visit her family and just having a good time. She especially loved spending time with her family, caring for her grandchildren and following their sporting events. She looked forward to spending time with family and friends at their home on Round Pond. She will be remembered for her willing nature to help others. She is survived by her husband Peter Duguay of Livermore; daughters, Sarah Gemelli and husband Eric of Livermore, Ashley Richards and husband Scott of New Gloucester, Jessica Duguay and companion Lucas, Chelsea Duguay and companion Johnny, both of Livermore Falls and Andrea Duguay and companion Matt of Wilton; 10 grandchildren, Blake, Emmett, Ava, Jared, Natalie, Mason, Wyatt, Eli, Remi and Rumi; great-granddaughter, Vivian; her sister Lynn Provost and husband Dave of Vermont, brothers, Scott Mastine and wife Robin of Jay, and Kurt Mastine of Vermont; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her father-in-law, Eli Duguay and mother-in-law, Alice Duguay.
