
The Western Maine Art Group continues its summer season with a First Friday Reception set for 5-7 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Main Street Gallery, 426 Main Street, in Norway.
In addition, the ‘Then and Now’ exhibit at the Matolcsy Art Center, 480 Main St., will be open. These galleries exhibit the work of fine artists and artisans living and working in Western Maine.
Featured artist of the month at Main Street Gallery is Erica Christensen of Turner. She will display original watercolors, giclee prints, and notecards. Flowers, wading birds, and landscapes are favorite subjects.
The Main Street Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
