PORTLAND — To help provide equitable learning access and opportunities and keep local youth connected during the school year, UScellular has donated 42 wireless hotspots and two years of service to Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine.
The hot spots will be used at the five Clubhouses in Auburn/Lewiston, Portland and South Portland. Each has the potential to support multiple club members throughout any given day.
Hot spots have proven to be a vital tool for youth to access the internet, study and complete homework, and these will help Boys & Girls of Club of Southern Maine boost their connectivity on site, while also being loaned out to families to support reliable access at home.
