Jeannine I. Poirier
AUBURN – Jeannine I. Poirier, 84, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at Clover Manor. She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Victorien and Simonne Pomerleau. She worked for several years in local shoe shops.Jeannine was a member of The Prince of Peace Parish attending Holy Cross church. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and going shopping. She is survived by a son, Mark Lachance and his wife Christina of Lewiston, three grandchildren, Devin Lachance of Florida, Alysha and Jayla Lachance of Lewiston, two great-grandchildren, Arabella and Kade of Florida, two sisters, Joanne Parent and her husband Ray of Florida, and Connie Hart of Lisbon and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her second mother, Adrienne Pomerleau, who raised her from a very young age due to Simonne passing when Jeannine was six-months-old, a brother, Roger Pomerleau, a brother-in-law, Bob Hart and her longtime companion, Bob Monroe.
