LOCKE MILLS — American Legion Post #68, Gore Road, Locke Mills, Supper 5 – 6 p.m. $10, $5 for children under 12. Dance $5 with Music by Shadagee Ramblers.  Apple Crisp for Dessert. Supper proceeds to benefit American Legion Auxiliary programs.
Finnish
The Finnish American Heritage Society of Maine will hold its monthly meeting September 19 at 2 p.m.. A short business meeting will be followed by a program provided by Tooty Wilson and Karen Bennett who will share their experience at a Finnish cooking class by The Two Finnish Cooks, The public is invited to attend.

NORWAY — Hannah F. Richardson Tent #19 Stoneham held their August meeting the 26 at the home of sister Carlene Gavin on the shore of Norway Lake. There were members joining from Florida, Colorado, Maryland.

Next meeting will be Sept. 23 at the home of sister Margaret Babineau. There will be nomination of officers for the upcoming year.
