Marlene R. Semetauskis
LEWISTON – Marlene R. Semetauskis, 64, of Auburn died Thursday August 26, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital, with her family at her side, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer.
She was born in Lewiston on August 5, 1957 a daughter of the late Roger and Rachel (Pelletier) Langelier. She was educated in local schools. She worked for many years in local shoe shops. Marlene married John Semetauskis on July 30, 1994.
Marlene loved her animals and especially her pets, she also loved the outdoors, weather being in the woods, the mountains, on a boat or at the ocean and she was known for making her amazing crafts and her beautiful gardens. In her younger years she also enjoyed riding motor cycles.
She is survived by her husband, John Semetauskis, of Auburn; her two sons Michael Langelier and his wife Jessie of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Chad Roy and his companion Leslie Buck of Auburn, a stepdaughter, Kayla Semetauskis and her companion Jeff Lewis of Minot; two grandchildren Brooke Roy and Jeremiah Semetauskis; a sister, Maureen Hardaway and husband Hank of New Hampshire, two brothers, Marc Langelier of Lisbon and Martin Langelier and his wife Beth of Monmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
