LISBON — Fire and rescue crews responded to the area of 93 Lisbon St. Friday night after a report that a car had slammed into several trees and that at least one person was trapped inside the wreckage.
Lisbon firefighters were joined by a crew from Lewiston after the crash was reported at about 6:30 p.m. Crews used extrication equipment to free the victim from the vehicle and it was reported that at least one person was being taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with multiple injuries.
The vehicle crashed in the area of Littlefield, a short distance from the Lewiston-Lisbon line. Emergency crews remained at the scene later Friday night.
