MONMOUTH — Hayden Fletcher became the Monmouth’s all-time leading scorer in a 6-2 MVC boys soccer win over Spruce Mountain on Tuesday.

Fletcher’s second goal, at the 27-minute mark of the second half, gave him 93 in his career, passing brother Kyle Fletcher and Avery Pomerleau, who were tied for the career mark at 92.

Jacob Godbout scored a hat trick in the game and Blaine Paradis added a goal for the Mustangs (5-1). In goal, Hunter Frost made five saves and Zeke Delmore added two.

Lucas Towers scored both goals for the Phoenix (1-4), with Cully Johnson picking up an assist. Nate Holland had four saves, and Logan Knight made one of his own after taking over goalie duties midway through the second half.

MT. ABRAM 4, HALL-DALE 1: Wyatt Sieminski and Morgan Thibodeau each had a goal and an assist to help the Roadrunners (6-0) knock off the Bulldogs (5-1) in an MVC battle of unbeatens at Salem.

Charlie Pye got the scoring going for Mt. Abram before Sieminski made it 2-0. Max Byron cut the deficit in half for Hall-Dale in the second half, but Thibodeau and Kaden Pillsbury pulled the Roadrunners away.

Cam Walters and Caleb Thibodeau added assists for Mt. Abram, and Ian Allen made four saves. Jackson Leach stopped 10 shots for Hall-Dale.

LEWISTON 9, BREWER 2: Shafi Ibrahim scored four goals and assisted on another to lead the Blue Devils’ (4-0) offensive charge against the Witches (3-2-1) at Brewer.

Igor Domingues scored a pair of goals and Romano Bassa, Moses Lumu and Abdihakim Daud also scored for Lewiston, which had assists on eight of nine goals. Hamze Nur and Khalid Hersi each had two helpers. Tanner Anctil made seven saves.

Josh Schneider and Braden Carr scored the goals for Brewer, and Brady Vanidestine had 14 saves in goal.

EDWARD LITTLE 5, OXFORD HILLS 0: Campbell Cassidy scored twice and added an assist in the Red Eddies’ (5-1) road victory over the Vikings (0-5-1) in KVAC action at Paris.

Jack Thompson also scored two goals, Wesley Clements scored the other and Mohamed Adow added two assists. Eli St. Laurent stopped four shots for the shutout.

Emmett Hand made 10 saves for Oxford Hills.

GIRLS SOCCER
ERSKINE 3, LEAVITT 1: Down 1-0 at halftime, the Eagles scored three unanswered goals in the second half to beat the Hornets in South China.

Gabrielle Sasse scored two goals for Erskine (2-1-0), while Brielle Crommett added a goal.

Emma Chiasson scored the lone goal for Leavitt (1-4-0).

HALL-DALE 9, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Lily Platt and Karlie Reith each had a hat trick to lead the Bulldogs (4-0) to the victory in Jay.

Hayden Madore (assist), Marie Benoit (two assists) and Rita Benoit also scored, with Iris Ireland, Zoe Soule, Addie Tinkham, Julia Nott and Lucy Gray adding assists.

Emma Towers made 17 saves for the Phoenix (1-3).

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 5, POLAND 2: Elise MacNair scored three of her four goals in the first hald and added an assist as the Seagulls (3-2) topped the Knights (0-5) at Old Orchard Beach.

Tess Ferguson also scored for Old Orchard Beach. Sarah Davis provided a pair of assists and Abby Roy and Molly Mason added assists.

Arianna Gammon and Ava Anderson scored for Poland.

GREELY 7, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Elle Jowett scored two goals as the Rangers (4-2) beat the Patriots (2-4) in Cumberland.

Carly Asherman, Chelsea Gravier, Ally Martin, Holly Moss and Allie Read also scored for Greely.

MT. BLUE 1, MESSALONSKEE 0: Eryn Parlin scored off a 40-yard free kick to give the Cougars (5-1) a win over the Eagles (3-2-1) in Farmington.

Kaitlyn Burke made five saves for the shutout.

Brennan Doran made six saves for Messalonskee.

FIELD HOCKEY
FREEPORT 2, POLAND 1: Kyla Havey scored in double overtime to give the Falcons (2-4) the win over the Knights (1-6) in Poland.

Emma MacMahon scored for Poland in the first quarter but Chloe White tied the game for Freeport later in the quarter.

MESSALONSKEE 2, EDWARD LITTLE 0: The Eagles (6-0) remain undefeated with a win over the Red Eddies (0-6) in Oakland.

Francesca Caccamo scored in the first quarter and Isabel Culver scored in the third quarter for Messalonskee. Abigail Stevens had an assist on Caccamo’s goal. Nealy Dillon only had to make two saves for the win.

Kasey Smith stopped 11 shots for Edward Little.

FIELD HOCKEY
BATES 1, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 0:  Anna Cote scored an unassisted goal with 5:57 remaining in the first half and the Bobcats (3-2) made it stand as they blanked the Nor’easters (3-4) at Biddeford.

Lindsay Pych for UNE and Grace Biddle for Bates each recorded three saves.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
COLBY 3, MAINE-FARMINGTON 0:  Lily Fagan put away a feed from Mannon Frykholm 4:28 into the second half to break a scoreless tie and lead the Mules (2-1-1) as they shut out the host Beavers (1-6) in non-conference play at Farmington.

Charlotte White scored an unassisted goal in the 65th minute and Ellie Hankin added a goal on a Fagan pass just two minutes later.

Callie Hammer had four saves for UMaine-Farmington, while Maxine Jamison needed only a single save for Colby.
