MEXICO — Oxford Federal Credit Union was recently named as one of 2021’s Best Places to Work in Maine. The awards program was created in 2006 and is a project of the Society for Human Resource Management – Maine State Council (MESHRM) and Best Companies Group.

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Maine, benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce, and businesses. The 2021 Best Places to Work in Maine list is made up of 100 companies. According to Tammy Daigle, Sr. VP of Support, Oxford FCU first learned about the program at the Maine HR Convention in 2007. They decided to participate and were named a ‘Best Places to Work in Maine’ that year. “In 2013, we committed to participating every other year to give our employees the opportunity to confidentially share feedback through the program’s survey and have been named a Best Place each time: 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021,” said Daigle.

OFCU CEO Matt Kaubris shared, “Beyond competitive wages and excellent benefits, what makes our organization a great place to work is our team.
