Robert “Bob” R. Guerette

AUBURN – Robert “Bob” R. Guerette, 87, of Auburn, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at Clover Manor in Auburn. He was born in Lewiston on March 26, 1934, the son of Henry and Alexina (LePage) Guerette. Educated in local schools, he was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of 1952. Robert was a self-employed house renovator. He was a United States Air Force Veteran during the Korean War. On April 19, 1954, he married the love of his life, Claudette St. Germain. They were married for 62 years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.Survivors include many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Claudette, his parents, six sisters, Luciennne Tardiff, Lezianne Caron, Fernande Nadeau, Yvette Bernier, Rolande Blouin, Joline Morton, and one brother, Lucien Guerrette. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Clover Health Care as well as the Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice, especially Margaret Quinn, for their kindness and thoughtful care.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m., at the First Assembly of God Church in Lewiston.
