Rodger E. Tripp Jr.
NEW GLOUCESTER – Rodger E. Tripp Jr., born Oct. 18, 1960, the son of Rodger and E. Marilyn Tripp of New Gloucester.
Rodger attended school in Sabattus, Poland, and Gray. Rodger graduated from Gray New Gloucester High School in 1980. After high school he worked at Etonic Shoe until they closed, then worked for Gates Formed Fiber until June 2021.
Rodger loved shopping, traveling, and the holidays, his favorite being Halloween. Rodger loved art, he loved to draw, paint, and crafts. He enjoyed gardening and could grow anything.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra and her husband Ken Roberts of Mechanic Falls, brother James Tripp and his wife Trina of New Gloucester, sister, Joan Tripp and companion Brian Lagasse of Wales; his adopted son, Alex Couture and his children, Lola and Martin.
A Celebration will be held Oct. 31 at 1 p.m., at his home in New Gloucester.
Donations may be made to the Children’s Museum of Portland and the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.
