Gary R. Carroll

LEWISTON – Gary R. Carroll of Lewiston, 66, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer.He was born on May 4, 1955, the son of Roland and Joan (Donahue) Carroll. He attended school in Auburn. After working in the shoe shops and Bates Mill, he found a job in St. Mary’s laundry department where he worked for 21 years. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Gary loved listening to rock music and the balloon festivals. He is survived by a sister, Cindy Boyd; a nephew, Shawn Boyd his wife, Missi and their children, Danielle Maurais, Jacob Boyd, and Zachary Boyd; a sister-in-law, Diane Carroll, and her children, Meka and Sarah; two great nieces, Peyton Maurais and Cadee Embrey.He was predeceased by his father and mother; and two brothers, David, and Bruce.A private family service will be held at a later date.
