PARIS — Due to the inability to hold public fundraising inside, “RPC” will hold a Fall Harvest Fundraiser to celebrate “Adopt a Shelter Dog month” and to raise funds to help care for the unprecedented high numbers of pets coming into the shelter currently.
The event will be held at the shelter on October 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (9 Swallow Road, South Paris). The rain date is October 17. There will be professional family/pet photos $10/$25, ticket auction, food, baked goods, 50/50 raffle, crafts, and vendors.
The ticket auction will include a dollar table, as well as gift certificates and many nice prize items. Tickets will be in envelopes $20, $10 & $5. You do not need to be present to win. Anyone interested in a vendor or crafter table please call 743-6651. Tables are free; a donation would be appreciated. For more information, call 743-6651.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
