LEWISTON — Police arrested an 18-year-old local man Tuesday evening in a stabbing on Main Street. Lewiston.
Isaiah Stufflebeam of Lisbon Street was charged with aggravated assault and taken to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn, where he was being held Wednesday on $5,000 cash bail, according to Lt. James Theiss of the Lewiston Police Department.
Several police officers responded to the area near 300 Main St. about 6 p.m. for a report of a fight that led to a stabbing.
The victim was identified as Colton Wescott, 16, who also lives locally, according to police.
Wescott was treated for a stab wound to his abdomen, according to Theiss.
