LEWISTON – John D. “Jack” Greene, 64, a resident of Leeds, passed away Friday Sept. 17, 2021 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. He was born August 21, 1957 in Everett, Mass., the son of John Greene, Jr. and Nancy (Bell) Haines.

He attended school in Pembroke, Mass. He was a very gifted mechanic before a medical event with diabetes left him disabled. He enjoyed car shows and loved the movie “Rocky”.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Haines and her husband Richard of Dixfield; brothers Rick Greene and wife Ellen of Livermore Falls, Gregory Greene and fiancée Kristen of Livermore Falls, sisters Bonny Cochran and husband Randy of Dixfield and Kim McClearn and husband Jim of Florida. He was predeceased by his father; his sister Joanna Ford; and son John J. Greene.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17 at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
