John K. Mansur

WALES – John K. Mansur, 76, a resident of Wales, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born on March 16, 1945 in Boston, Mass., the son of Richard L. Mansur and Elizabeth (Beam) Mansur.

He was raised in Reading, Mass., graduating from the Reading Memorial High School, Class of 1963. John furthered his education at the University of Vermont, receiving a BS in Mathematics in 1968. On Jan. 6, 1979, he married Margaret Ann Chapman in Malden, Mass.

He was a founding father of the Robinson Company serving as Executive Vice President and Actuary, then as Vice President of Pension Services Division for Sinclair Risk and Financial Inc, in Connecticut.

He will be remembered by his family as a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Margaret Mansur of Wales; his daughter, Cheryl E. Dudus and husband Roman of Waterford, Conn., two sons, J. Matthew Mansur of Wales, Adam T. Mansur and wife Sarah Sillin of Ellensburg, Wash.; three grandchildren; and a nephew, Clark A. Mansur. John was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Richard R. Mansur.
