David H. Gray
HOULTON – David H. Gray, 59, of Hogan Street in Houlton, formerly of Lisbon, died unexpectedly due to Covid-19 on Friday Oct. 8, 2021, in his home.
He was born in Bangor on June 21, 1962 to Harvey and Velva (Myers) Gray. He graduated with the Lisbon High School class of 1980, earned a B.A. from the University of Maine and a master’s degree from the Catholic University of America, then went on to Officer Candidate School in New Port, R.I.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, including two tours in Iraq. David was a Federal Agent with the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol stationed in Houlton.
David enjoyed working around his house, gardening, and going for rides on his bicycle in nature. He could be found strumming his many guitars and enjoying the company of his two cats, Bianca and Bear.
He is survived by his mother, Velva Gray of Topeka Kansas; his daughter, Marsilla Gray and son, Harris Gray of Tampa, Fla.; and a sister, Sandy Costello and husband Terry of Lisbon.
He was predeceased by his father, Harvey Gray; and a sister, Cindy Gray.
He was a very caring man and will be missed deBarly by his family.

Visitation at Crosman Funeral Home on Monday Oct. 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at Lisbon Center Cemetery in Lisbon Falls.
