I married Dana Staples because he is smart, kind and he is a great listener. These are also the reasons I know he will make a great councilor for the city of Auburn.
Dana is passionate about making the city of Auburn a better place for people to live and work. He left Maine to get his degree in software engineering. It was important to him to return to Auburn. He promotes youth returning to Maine to work.
Dana is a big reader, and I can’t count how many books he reads on roads and walkability.
Often on vacations our conversations come back to how to make towns efficient and walkable. Dana gets to the heart of a matter simply and efficiently. He is open-minded and willing to work with others to find a smart solution.
I love Dana, and he would be great for the city of Auburn.
