Scavenger Hunt
PARIS — The Paris Public Library’s Seneca Club is hosting a kids’ Halloween scavenger hunt at the Deering Memorial Community Center on Saturday, October 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will search for traditional Halloween creatures or characters in the former Sanctuary, receiving a bag of treats for successfully completing their hunts. Breakfast
PARIS — The Town of Paris Recreational Softball is hosting our first annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, October 30, 6-11 a.m. (Come before heading into the woods) at the American Legion, 12 Church Street! We will be serving a delicious stack of pancakes with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, and a cup of coffee and/or orange juice. Bring your appetite and come support your local youth sports. Want breakfast but in a hurry? We have you covered with to-go boxes!
Fair
MINOT — There will be a church fair on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Minot United Methodist Church, Rte. 121, Corner of Minot Ave. & Empire Rd. in Minot. There will be home-cooked foods, a candy & fudge table, crafts, Christmas gifts, Old Fashioned Store Cheese, lots of knit items, Silent Auction, and more. Lunch will be available: Fish Chowder, Corn Chowder, Chili and Mac & Cheese. It will be take-out only and will be ready at 11 a.m. Hope to see you at the Fair!
