NORWAY — Children and their grown-ups are invited to the Second Congregational Church, 201 Main St., for Halloween stories at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the white Victorian parsonage next to the church.

Pastor Sara Bartlett plans to read child-appropriate Halloween stories. Costumes are welcome, but masks are required for everyone. All children, whether preschoolers, homeschoolers, or elementary students, must also attend with their grownup.

The “spooktacular” story time is planned to be a safe and happy end to a busy afternoon. There will be air purifiers running. Children will sit three to six feet apart. Popcorn and juice will be served.

Wearing a jacket or bringing a blanket to sit upon is recommended. Parking is available in the church lot. Storytime will last about 30 minutes.

The Norway Downtown Trick or Treat Event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Main Street, prior to the story time.

For more information, call the church office at 207-743-2290.
