A “yes” vote on Question 2 on Nov. 2 would mean that some very critical projects all over Maine can become a reality.

The pandemic was devastating to many sectors, including airports. The transportation bond has money in it to match federal funds to make airport improvements. Traveling is coming back, thank goodness, and soon we are all going to want to get on airplanes again.

We need to ensure that our major airports maintain safe facilities and become even more efficient.

Also included in Question 2 is money for marine and rail facility improvements that will make doing business in Maine more profitable, and hopefully attract new businesses.
