BUCKFIELD – Cathy A. LaChapelle, 55, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at Central Maine Medical Center. Born on Jan. 12, 1966, daughter of the late Dominic and Phyllis Giachetti.

Cathy spent 36 years together and married to Jeffrey LaChapelle, the love of her life. Together they shared a wonderful life and raised two children, whom she was immensely proud of.

Cathy was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Patricia Glidden.

She is survived by her husband. She is also survived by her son, Connor LaChapelle and his fiancé, Jordan LaCross, her daughter, Mckenna LaChapelle and her partner, Daniel Alles; her sisters and brothers Jody Grindle, Terry LaBarbara, Chris Giachetti, and Dick Bishop; her mother-in-law, Judith LaChapelle, her father-in-law, Ronald LaChapelle; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation Fortin Auburn Tuesday Oct. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday Oct. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by committal at Buckfield Village Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of The Fortin Group, 217 Turner St., Auburn, 783-8545
