LEWISTON — Hannah Smith was recently presented the 2021 Acceptance Award by the Promise Early Education Center.
Smith, according to a news release from the center, embodies what it is to show acceptance — someone who is non-judgmental, who gives people a sense of belonging and who always sees the good in others.
Smith has worked with many families and approaches each family in an open, receptive manner. She gets to know families individual situations and identifies ways to support them in achieving their goals, according to the news release.
Promise Early Education Center, the Head Start program of Androscoggin County, is located at 269 Bates St.
