Ellen C. Roberts

FARMINGTON – Ellen C. Roberts, 93, a resident of Farmington, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Woodlands Assisted Living in Farmington.

She was born Jan. 15, 1928 in Dexter, the daughter of Paul Lauridsen and Ruth (Cole) Lauridsen. She attended school in Dexter and Bangor.

On Feb. 14, 1953, in Biddeford, she married Henry L. Roberts. They enjoyed 54 years together before his passing in 2007.

She worked as an apple packer for Chick Orchards in Monmouth for many years. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and swimming, and loved art and drawing.

She is survived by her children Roger Roberts and wife Marie of Michigan, Roland Roberts and wife Lois of Chesterville, Kenneth Roberts and wife Beth of Readfield, and daughter, Jacqueline Rockafellow of Winthrop; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at BRAGDON-FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 707 Main St., Monmouth. Interment, Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta.
