Delia “Dee” Videto
MINOT – Delia “Dee” Videto, 98, a resident of Minot, previously of Auburn, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Neal Nason, where she had resided for the last 2 ½ years due to a rapid decline from dementia.She was born March 14, 1923 in Lewiston to the late Joseph and Amelia Polisky, Lithuanian Immigrants. On August 12, 1950 she married Lawrence Videto in a service held in Derry, N.H. They were married for 46 years before Lawrence passed in 1997.She attended local schools, leaving when she was 16 to help out the family. She first worked at Frangedakis restaurant, later working at the local shoe factories until retiring in 1991.She enjoyed yard sales, going for long rides and spending time with family. She was truly devoted to her family, attending all the family gatherings, usually entertained with Lithuanian songs. She attended St. Patrick’s Church until its closing and then followed her faith through televised catholic mass. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Nason and husband Neal of Minot; one granddaughter Barbara Nason of Seattle Wash.; and many nieces and nephews, one of which, Mark and his wife Tracy Polisky of Oxford, always visited on Christmas Eve which meant so much to her.She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, daughter Christina; sisters Helen McLaughlin, Peggy Polisky, Stella Simokaitis, Mary Martin, and Kay Surette, her brother Austin Polisky; her niece Patty Laqasse and nephew Dan McLaughlin.On line condolences can be shared at http://www.thefortingroupauburn.comVisitation Fortin Auburn, Saturday 11/6 from 9 – 11 a.m. Funeral to follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
