Marvin Wilfred Campbell
LEWISTON – Marvin Wilfred Campbell, 72, passed away on Nov. 2, 2021 at St. Mary’s D’Youville Pavilion after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Marvin was born on Jan. 22, 1949 in Lewiston to Albina and Martin Campbell Sr.
Marvin was a dedicated man, determined to provide for his family and give them the life they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he proudly and often mentioned. He was a devoted father and grandfather who never missed an opportunity to attend even the smallest event or family dinner. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family. He truly basked in the joy of having his grandchildren around him.
Marvin was talented in so many aspects of his life. He was a Navy Veteran and always seemed to be taking educational courses; seeking to better himself. He was an extremely hard worker, dedicated and determined.
He leaves behind his wife Madeleine A. Campbell; daughter Brandi and her husband Scott Lyons; his grandchildren Cassidy and her husband Shayne, as well as Dylan, Carter, and Addilyn. He is also survived by his brother Martin Campbell Jr. and many other family members and dear friends that will miss him greatly. Marvin was predeceased by his mother, Albina Campbell and his father, Martin Campbell Sr.
There will be a memorial/celebration of life on Wednesday Nov. 10 at Fortin’s Funeral Home in Auburn. Visitation 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Service to follow.
