Danielle Loring and her daughters Elliette, 6, and Skye, 12, hand water Sunday to runners and walkers participating in the 10th annual Tri-Town Family 5K at the Minot Trails and Fields. Elliette says while the day was chilly, the water keeps people “warm and hydrated.” Skye’s Girl Scout troop participated in the run, and Skye says she enjoys giving water to her friends. “It’s fun seeing them go by,” Skye says.
