To the Editor:
Whenever I go to the dump, my dog and I like to top off the trip with a hike on Mt. Will. And when I’m out there, I often think of Walter Hatch. It’s my understanding that Walter, at the time a member of the Bethel Conservation Commission, built that trail.
Presumably, there was this idea, and day after day, he went out there and made that idea happen. Now I know there were more efforts involved, but I don’t want to skip saying Thank You Walter just because I might have missed the others. Maybe you know more. If so, let’s hear about it!
