June Beatrice Cyr
GREENE – June B. Cyr of Greene, Maine, passed away, Nov., 14, 2021, with her loving children at her side. June was born to Gilbert and Merilda (Beaulieu) Cyr on June, 5, 1951. She grew up in Sabattus, Maine. June was known as a beautiful soul with the biggest heart. She loved growing up with her sisters and brothers. June was an amazing mother, and an even better grandmother. She loved being around her family and going to her grandchildren’s sporting events. She enjoyed playing cards and cribbage. She enjoyed dressing up and going out, especially for Halloween. She loved her shopping days with her sisters and her daughter. June was a traveler at heart, she enjoyed her trips to Florida and to the Bahamas, the beach had her heart, especially Hermits Island. June was a proud member of Harry J Conway American Legion Auxiliary Unit 135.
She is survived by her significant other of 21 years, David Webber; one daughter Rebecca Smith-Papsis and her fiancé Richard Lafond; one son Eric Smith and his wife Jennifer; Four grandchildren Victoria Wood and her husband Dustin, Baylee Lane and her boyfriend Jack Boutaugh, and Carter and Tyler Smith; five sisters; Ruth Michaud-Glazier and her husband Thomas Glazier, Rudy Gayton, Judy Cyr, Joan Caron and her husband Ron Caron and Janie Metzler and her husband Todd Metzler. She also has a very special place in her heart for Eleanor Schmitt.
June wass predeceased by her parents, her three brothers Camille Cyr, John Cyr and Jeano Cyr. Her three brother-in-laws who she loved dearly, Henry Michaud, Robert (Tim) Gayton and Robert (Moe) Cyr.
The family would like to thank Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice for their great hospitality.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021, from 9-11 a.m., at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home. Interment will then follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus. Following the interment, family and friends are invited to join for a Celebration of Life Service at the American Legion Post 135 at 40 Island Road in Sabattus.
