Remi was surrendered to the shelter when his previous owner came to the difficult realization that Remi needed more activity and structure than she could provide. He has made great progress since being at the shelter and working with our trainer.
This boy loves (and needs) to work his brain and his body! If you are active with your dog(s) this could be the boy you are looking for. Remi is a one-year-old shepherd mix who has lived with a cat. He could do well with a stable, well-trained dog to help show him the ropes.
We are not allowing him to go to a home with small children. If you think Remi could be a good fit for your home and lifestyle, please fill out our application at www.responsiblepetcare.org and set up a meet and greet.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
