BETHEL — The Telstar Rebels varsity girls soccer team finished the 2021 season with a record of 4-6-1 after a season-ending 1-1 tie on the road against the Wiscasset / Boothbay Wolverines.  Makenzie Eliot scored the equalizing goal with a beautiful assist from Macie Hallett after the Rebels had fallen behind 1-0.  Senior Katie Evans was outstanding in goal through two overtimes to keep the game tied.

At the conclusion of the season, senior Macie Hallett, the team captain, was elected to the Mountain Valley Conference All-Star Team (2nd team).  Additionally, Hallett was selected by opposing coaches to play in the 27th Maine Soccer Coaches Senior Bowl Game at Thomas College on November 14th.  Macie, playing on the Southern Maine Class C Regional – Blue Team, garnered an assist on the game-winning goal as her team won by a score of 4-1.
