Michael D. Sylvester Sr.
ANDOVER – Michael D. Sylvester Sr., 68, of Andover, passed away suddenly on Nov. 9, 2021. He was born Nov. 22, 1952, to Walter and Beverly Sylvester of Andover. Mike was the youngest of 10 children. He graduated from Telstar High School in 1971. He married Beverly (Kimball) Sylvester, they welcomed their first child Melissa Ann Sylvester in 1972 and Michael, Jr. in 1974 at Offat Air Force Base in Nebraska where he was stationed. Honorably discharged in 1981 he spent much of his time between Maine and Massachusetts. A man of many trades he was an excellent mechanic and salesperson. Mike loved cars, trucks and anything related. He loved people and going out to eat. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his son Michael and wife Jeanie; his former wife Beverly; grandchildren Courtney and husband Thomas, Gabriel and wife Rebecca and Cassandra; great grandchildren Nolan, Samarra and unborn Greyson; his brother Skip; and sisters Barbara, Theresa, Margaret, Mary and Frances; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father, daughter Melissa, and brothers John and Robert. There will be no services at this time.
