SUMNER — The Sumner Ladies Auxiliary presents the second annual “Lights for Love” community tree lighting event on December 3, from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Sumner Town office/Fire station. Blue bulbs can be purchased for $5 per name from any auxiliary or fireman from the Town of Sumner until November 29.
These bulbs are in memory or in honor of a loved one past or present, and names will be read aloud prior to the tree lighting. Free hot chocolate, cookies, and hot cider will be available. Soup, chili, chowder will be sold as well as homemade holiday candies. Santa will be stopping by and available for pictures. We hope to see all our neighbors and friends for this special event.
