Born in Mexico, Maine on Nov. 7, 1930. She was the daughter of Thomas and Nina (Gaudet) Buotte.

In July of 1952, Lillian married Robert Kellogg of Bethel. They resided on Hancock Street in Rumford where they raised their four children.

She was a former member of the Mexico Congregational Church and in the past had hosted many luncheons for Ann Abbott’s church group. She loved her flower and vegetable gardens, and could often be found tending to them in the summer. She was an exceptional cook, and her nightly meals were more like a holiday celebration. Everyone also looked forward to her baked treats. Crocheting was her favorite hobby, and many were fortunate to have been gifted her beautiful afghan blankets. She also crocheted many hats for newborns to bring to the Rumford Hospital. She was also an avid Boston sports team enthusiast. She also spent countless hours with her twin sister Vivian putting jigsaw puzzles together.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert Kellogg, Sr. of Rumford, a daughter Corinne Frazier of Mexico, sons, Robert, Jr and his wife Kathy of Rumford, Craig and his wife Kelly of Round Rock, Texas, and William and his wife Dorrine of Roxbury, Mass., a brother William Buotte of Mexico, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by five sisters, Colleen Buotte, Vivian Buotte, Judy Wood, Beverly Waugh and Elaine Gurschick, and four brothers, Norman, Clarence, Thomas and Dennis Buotte, and son-in-law Dean Frazier.
