WEST PARIS — ‘Tis the season to settle in, connect with friends and family, perhaps ponder the year past, and what might be ahead. It sometimes helps to join with others in these times. All are welcome to attend the First Universalist Church of West Paris, Sundays at 9 a.m. For the present time, we are wearing masks during the worship service, but we are still singing.

December 5, Window Reflections led by The Reverend Fayre Stephenson. Most agree that the Bible-based stained-glass windows in the First Universalist Church of Norway are beautiful objects of art. Is there a deeper message hidden in those windows? What do they tell us about our forebearers? Join us for some surprising and heartwarming revelations.

December 12, We will be closed on this Sunday as our congregation will be attending the service at the First Universalist Church in South Paris. The service starts at 9:30 a.m.

December 19, Candles in the Darkness led by The Reverend Fayre Stephenson. On this Sunday before Christmas, we will explore the qualities of light and darkness as they are revealed in the lessons of Hanukkah, Advent, and the Winter Solstice.

December 24, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 5 p.m., led by The Reverend Fayre Stephenson. This service will be a traditional service of readings and carols for the whole family. There will be special music and participants from the congregation. Invite your friends and families!
