Junior Girl Scout Troop 1627 of Lewiston recently participated in an overnight event at the Boston Museum of Science. The girls joined nearly 200 Girl Scouts from around New England at the event. During the visit the girls had a chance to explore the museum with its many exhibits and also sat through an electrical storm, recreated in the museum’s Omni Theater. Among the exhibits was one dealing with America’s space missions. Shown inside a model of the Apollo Command Module are Alexis Handy and Nicole Marshall; Carolyn Little, Melanie Morin and Stephanie Moyer. Accompanying the girls on the trip were Troop Leader Claire Marshall and Co-Leader Kim Moyer.
