Melanie Marie Cindy Jacques

WISCASSET – Melanie Marie Cindy Jacques, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 14, 2021.

She was born on July 19, 1983 in Lewiston to Donald and Sylvie (Boisclair) Jacques. She attended Holy Cross School and graduated from Lewiston High School in 2001. She then attended the University College of Bangor and graduated from the dental hygiene program in May of 2005. She went on to serve several Maine communities as a dental hygienist over the last 16 years.

Melanie was very social, making friends wherever she went. Her wonderful sense of humor and warm personality lives on through the artistry she created for loved ones throughout the years.

Melanie is survived by her parents; her three sisters, Stephanie (Jonathan) Cowie, Carolyn (Tyler) Kenney, and Katelyn Jacques (Zakkary Castonguay); her nieces and nephews, Dominic, Madeleine, and Gemma Cowie, and Grayson Castonguay. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Léon and Annette Jacques, and Jean-Marie and Estelle Boisclair.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A funeral Mass honoring Melanie’s life will be celebrated on Monday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Committal prayers will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pinette Dillingham and Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023.
