Eileen V. Belleau

LEWISTON – Eileen V. Belleau, 75, passed away Thursday Dec. 16,2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Lewiston. The daughter of Linwood and Juliette (Drouin) Chase.Eileen worked as a records specialist at Bates College for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed her work and retired at the age of 72, only due to her failing health.During her life she enjoyed traveling with the love of her life, Len , playing cards, making puzzles and watching sports with him M and M. Eileen enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, going to two Divo concerts with her dear friends Barbara and Rachel.She never missed an opportunity to tell her children and grandchildren how lovingly proud she was of them and made wonderful memories.Eileen enjoyed animals , driving to the countryside, and spending time with family and friends. She loved to make people laugh, she will be missed.Eileen is survived by her daughter Theressa Koontz, of Suwanee Georgia her son Gary Hartshorn and Wife Betsy of Denver Colorado.Three stepchildren Kimberly Parker and husband Robert, James Belleau and wife Rebecca, Stephen Belleau and wife Eileen of Lewiston.A sister Linda Bartolec of Lewiston. 14 grandchildren, Alissa , Nicole, Bridget, Kylee, Brianna, Nicholas, and wife Katie. Casey, Alex, James, Michael, Anna, Ellie, Lauren, Maggie and one great grandson Marshall; nieces and nephews.Eileen was predeceased by her father Linwood Chase and mother Juliette and stepfather Roy her brother Larry Chase, and her husband Leonard P. Belleau, whom she was happily married to for 35 years.A celebration of life service will be held in the Spring of 2022.
