Clarence and Irene Letourneau recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a celebration in their honor with 50 guest in attendance at Marcos Restaurant in Lewiston.
The party was given by the couple’s eight children along with their spouses and the guests included the couple’s siblings, their grandchildren and a few close friends. A video showing the couple’s life together starting from when they first met was played throughout the evening. The celebration ended with the couple renewing their wedding vows officiated by their granddaughter Toni.
The Letourneau’s are the former owners of Merit Pools and they have been retired for quite some time. They have spent summers in Maine and winters in Florida and are currently residing in Lisbon, Maine.
