To the Editor:

Michelle Conroy, director of the Bethel Library, will be retiring on Jan. 21, 2022. The Bethel Library Association Board of Trustees would like to express our deep appreciation for her years of dedicated service to the library.

After 27 years at the helm of the Bethel Library, and a total of four decades in the field of library services, Michelle is looking forward to a well-deserved retirement.

A committee comprised of trustees and community members will begin the challenging work of finding a new library director, and in the near future will be posting information about the position on the Maine State Library listserv and in local newspapers.

Please help us to spread the word to qualified candidates, and join us in wishing Michelle the best in her retirement.
