On Tuesday, Dec. 14, a group of Rotary volunteers gathered to prepare and pack 100 to-go full ham dinners for area senior citizens.

Up until the pandemic hit in 2020, this event had been a highly anticipated and attended in-person event at the American Legion Hall on the Gore Road in Greenwood. Due to safety, the event was canceled last year, but Bethel Rotarians wanted to hold it this year safely. The to-go format was deemed a success.

Many thanks are extended to Dave and Heather Nivus from the Good Food Store & Catering Co. for preparing the food, to the American Legion for allowing the Rotary to utilize its facility for the packing and pick-up, to Al Lake from the Legion for his assistance and to all the Rotarians who turned out to help make this project a success.
