Greenwood selectmen discuss broadband, lodging tax, and infrastructure
The board also continued its waste plan discussions, with Bethel set to put forth a proposal the first week in January. Discussions will continue whether to consider one waste plant or two plants to manage the needs of Greenwood, Newry, Bethel and two other towns.

New community ice rink in Bethel opens to skaters across the region
The rink, which opened Dec. 20, has six to seven inches of ice and will stay open every day during daylight hours as long as weather permits, and the ice stays frozen and is safe to skate on.
