100 Years Ago: 1922

The Business and Professional Women’s Club will complete its incorporation at its regular meeting at the YWCA on Monday night. This will be a supper meeting with supper at 6:30 o’clock. Those who plan to attend should communicate with the YWCA as soon as possible. Miss Carrie Miller, the song leader, asks all to bring their song books.

50 Years Ago: 1972

A program on hobbies will be featured at the Wednesday evening meeting of the YW-Wives. Mrs. Patricia Hix of Lisbon Falls will speak on her hobbies which include art and macrame. She has attended special classes in New York, New Jersey, and Ohio. The meeting will begin at 7:30 at the Kate J. Anthony House in Auburn and refreshments will be served at the close of the evening.

25 Years Ago: 1997

The Queen’s Guild Sodality of St. Joseph’s Church will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the church hall. Bertha Chasse will give a talk on “Dolls of the 21st Century.” All women of the parish are invited.
