Estelle M. Bosse

LEWISTON – Estelle M. Bosse, 83, of 8 Helen Street in Lewiston, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021.

Born in Van Buren on May 15, 1938, the daughter of Louis L. and Cecile Rossingnol Duplissis.

She began her education in Van Buren schools then moved to Lewiston as a child and graduated school there.

Estelle worked in the local shoe industry as well as Paragon Glass while raising her family working to provide for her sons, then in 1974 she began working at Tambrands now known as Procter & Gamble in Auburn for 20 plus years till she retired. Being an outgoing personality and caring person, she kept working in retirement, touching many young hearts at Levers’ Daycare in Lewiston and was known as Memere’ by her co-workers and many of the children that attended the daycare.

She enjoyed time with family especially taking care of her two Grandsons and would visit relatives and see that they were cared for also. She knew a lot of people and would run her shopping clubs for Lamey Wellehan Shoes as well as Fashion Bug clothing for many years. At home, she would watch her soap operas and liked to do word searches when relaxing. Another hobby was cooking any recipe she found as well as making her and her husband’s “signature” Banana Bread that would be made regularly to give to friends and family at all occasions.

She belonged to many local clubs in the area and was a lifetime member of Pastime Club, Acme club and the American Legion. She also was a member of Senior Citizens of Lewiston and would make coffee and help make the cribbage league a fun time for all every Thursday.

Survivors include her loving husband of Lewiston, Roland, her two sons, Ronald Laliberte and his wife Tanena of Greene, Patrick Laliberte of Auburn, her grandchildren Brandon and Logan, her Brother Nel and his wife Irene Duplissis, Nephews John Duplissis and his wife Diane, David Duplissis and his wife Lori, nieces Kathy Michaud and her husband Mark, Angela Michuad and her husband John, Cheryl Webber and her husband Bob and the many children of those nieces’, nephews and their children. Step daughters Patricia Bonet and her husband Brett with their children and grandchildren, Gerrilyn and wife Denise Bosse .

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by Brother Lawrence Duplissis, and ex-husband Norman Laliberte.

Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home in Lewiston on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, from 12 – 2 p.m., with a service at 2 p.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Memories may be shared online at http://www.albert-burpee.com.
