Ida F. Bruno

HEBRON – Ida F. Bruno, 93, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side.Ida was born in Raunds, England on Aug. 23, 1928, the daughter of John and Ada Nunley Gell. Ida met her husband, Frank during the war in her hometown of Raunds, England and they married in October of 1946. In 1953 Ida, Frank and their three children left England and came to America. Ida along with her husband Frank were very successful farmers who took pride in their work and family. She was an avid quilter belonging to several quilting groups and was also a talented knitter who donated many mittens and hats to local children. She was a member of the East Hebron Extension Homemakers for over 40 years. Ida and Frank were married for 69 years before he passed away in January of 2016. Ida is survived by her children Anthony Bruno and his wife Sandra, Anna Saar and her husband David, Carlo Bruno and his wife Judy; as well as six grandchildren Christopher Bruno and his wife Neliz, Andrea Burton and her husband Mark, Justin Saar and his wife Jillian, Jeremy Saar and his wife Gretchen, Ryan Bruno and his wife Ashley, Derek Bruno and his wife Allison; 11 great grandchildren Devyn Bruno, Kayla Gutierrez and her husband Donovan, Amelia Saar, Maverick Saar, Bodie Saar, Carson Saar, Jace Saar, Evan Bruno, Noah Bruno, Kelsea Bruno and Caleb Bruno; and one great great grandchild Charlotte Gutierrez. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice. Private family burial will take place in the early summer of 2022.
