NORWAY – Laila A. (Maki) Briggs, 82 passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. She was born March 5, 1939, in West Paris a daughter of the late Kusti and Anni (McKeen) Maki, She graduated from West Paris High School.
Laila and her husband were married for over 60 years. She helped a lot in their vehicle and equipment business Pineland sales.
She is survived by her husband Harley her two daughters, Vivian Jean Glover and her husband Tom of Hebron, Beverly Gilpatric of Otisfield a granddaughter Kayleen Glover of Mechanic Falls, her sister Signe Cadman of Poland.
Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home 45 Main Street South Paris, Family will hold visitation on Saturday Jan. 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at The Chandler Funeral Home. To make an online condolence please visit http://www.chandlefunerals.com .
