OXFORD — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine recently received a $3,250 grant from the Walmart Foundation to help support basic needs of cancer patients not covered by other local resources or supports.

“Each year, the Walmart Foundation provides each store with funds in their budget which they can use for specific causes for the betterment of their community,” said Matthew Packard, store manager of the Walmart Store in Oxford. “This year we are excited to be able to support the work of the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine.”
