Patrick John Chaloux

LEWISTON – Patrick John Chaloux, 60, beloved father, son, and brother, is on his last journey over an open road; Heaven called him home.

Born March 8, 1961 in Beverly, Mass., the cherished son of Marcel and Stella Chaloux, Patrick attended Holy Cross School and Lewiston High, graduating in 1979.

After high school he was employed at Maine Electronics in Lisbon working there into 1984. Patrick then joined the Marines in 1984 and in 1987 he was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. He later joined the reserves to work for his country locally in 1989 and going thru to 1991.

Enjoying the prospect of working for himself, Patrick became a landlord from 1984 to 2006, during that time he operated a successful AAAA1 Seamless Gutters business, and at one time or another he drove an ice cream truck and worked at a candy store. He became a truck driver from 1991 to 1999, in 1999 went to University of Maine, Lewiston for a year, then decided to earn his Class A and operated as a long-haul truck driver from 2006 thru 2010.

Being truly interested in helping the cause of others, Patrick ran for District State Representative and won.

We liked how he kept himself busy as a volunteer incognito security guard at his apartment complex at the Auburn Esplanade and would like to thank all those who helped Patrick succeed in his endeavors, and showed him much love and support.

Patrick leaves behind his two sons, Jacob Chaloux and significant other Stephanie Plamondon, and Nathaniel Chaloux. He is survived by his dedicated father, Marcel Chaloux. Also, his brother Marcel Chaloux Jr and wife Joline, and his three sisters, Diane Chaloux, Lorraine Fontaine, and Louise Triggiani will all miss him greatly. As well as many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patrick was predeceased by his dearest mother Stella Chaloux.

A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Patrick’s life will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 25 at Holy Cross Church. Committal prayers with military honors will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday Jan. 24 from 7-9 p.m. as well as an hour prior to church services at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway Lewiston. Face coverings are recommended.
